    • Joint Commission Accredited

      The Joint Commision continuously improves health care for the public by evaluting organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value. The commission is a non-for-profit organization that certifies hospitals such as Select Specialty Hospital - Ann Arbor.

    • Medicare Certified

      The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services perform on-site surveys to assure health, safety, sanitation, fire and quality of care requirements are being met.

    • Licensed by the State of Michigan

      Hospitals licensed by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Health Systems are defined by their participation in Medicare. Each designation carries special operating requirements and restrictions. These licensed hospitals must comply with procedures, building codes and fire safety regulations from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), Bureau of Health Systems, Division of Health Facilities & Services and the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Fire Services, respectively.
